We've released a new version of our Childcare.co.uk Android mobile app. The new version contains lots of great features including: search by your current location, add tags to your profile, new My Summary profile section, view ratings in the search results and a new easy to use navigation menu. You can also now register and login via Facebook.

Childcare.co.uk launched the world's first childcare search app for Android smartphones in 2011.

Users of Android mobile phones can download the free app and access most of the Childcare.co.uk web based services through the app.

The app allows parents to search for a variety of different local childcare providers including registered childminders, nannies, babysitters and private tutors. A secure, private messaging system is used for parents and childcare providers to contact each other. Childcare providers can be reviewed by parents and accessed via the app.

Childcare providers can also search for local parents seeking childcare and can contact them to introduce their services.
