About Us
Hi. I am a childminder with two children of my own who both attend the local secondary school.
I am now running a wrap around club. For after school I serve Lowbrook Academy, but I am very flexible with before school care. I previously cared for pre school children for over 20 years. I am looking for children who would like a home from home environment after a busy day at school. I will provide a warm, loving and secure place for your child to unwind, do some homework, play in the garden, or simply play with other children.
I have plenty of resources for children who want to play and also for children who want to rest.
I provide a snack and a home made dinner followed by a variety of fruit and a yoghurt. For before school care, I can provide breakfast.
I am registered with Ofsted and DBS checked and hold a paediactric first aid certificate.
My home is also smoke free

Our Fees
- Out of School Clubs from £6.00 per morning
Fees are £6 per hour or £15 for care until 6pm. I open at 8am for before school care.
All fees include breakfast, a snack and a hot meal

Sophie looked after my 2 year old for just under a year. The setting is wonderful and spacious with a lovely garden. I had never left either of my children until my eldest went to preschool so was very anxious leaving my youngest and choosing a setting had been difficult, but Sophie was warm, welcoming and accommodating from the very first meeting. My daughter settled well and enjoyed the variety of activities on offer from baking and crafts to days out at National trust and Dinton pastures! I liked that they undertook activities we would have been doing as a family. I felt very happy in the knowledge that my daughter was safe and content with Sophie. It was great to be updated daily online with pictures and a summary of their day together. I would wholeheartedly recommend Sophie for those seeking outstanding childcare in Maidenhead.

Today my little boy left Sophie to go on to nursery school, we are absolutely heart broken to be leaving Sophie, he has been there since he was 11 months. Sophie provides a wonderful setting, as a nervous parent going back to work I was so reluctant to leave my baby anywhere but the moment I met Sophie I knew it would be fine. She is responsible and relaxed and my little boy just loved her. I will really miss the enriching days out Sophie would lead, her frequent visits to all the lovely local parks/playgrounds/play centres in and around Maidenhead were often the highlights of my son's week. We could not have asked for a better child minder for our son and would recommend Sophie to anyone in Maidenhead looking for a child minder.

Sophie has been looking after my little boy since he was 11 months old - he is about to turn 3. She provides exceptional care, I am completely confident in her approach and setting, I couldn't ask for more. I can trust that my child is well looked after and the communication between us is outstanding. My little by is confident and happy in her setting and barely even says goodbye as he bounds through the door. I love receiving photos every day of what he has got up to and managing everything online. Sophie takes the children out frequently and they get to play in a variety of local places, they often do crafts/cooking too. I am so lucky to have found her and will be very sad to leave when we move on to pre school.

Sophie has been looking after my son since he was 14 months old. He's now 2 & a half and loves Sophie and her childminding days. They are varied and outdoorsy... he has developed well over the past year and a bit and I am looking forward to being able to know Sophie will be around for my soon to be born second son. If you want to ask anything specific I would be happy to talk to you.

Sophie looked after my 1.5 year old for 2 weeks. We pictures of her and plenty of feedback which was great, we were very happy from start to finish with Sophie services
