About Me
Hi, I am Charlotte - an Ofsted registered Childminder.
I hold qualifications in childcare, and have worked with children in various settings for 17+ years.
I was graded Outstanding by Ofsted March 2023.
I decided to become a childminder after having my daughter in 2019, and would like to invite and welcome your children to come learn, play and grow in a caring and supportive home away from home environment with me.
Your children will learn here through exploration and play, planned activities, and outings all whilst having fun.
My setting has many toys/resources to encourage and aid in development and learning, with a dedicated playroom that’s constantly evolving to the children's current interests/needs.
I also have a lovely safe and enclosed garden, to promote physical health and well-being.
We regularly enjoy messy play, arts & crafts, baking, outings out and about to explore the world and community around us and bigger trips out to museums/farms etc.
I am very lucky to live next to a nature reserve and woodland area to go explore, splash in muddy puddles and look for wildlife in.
Working alongside parents is really important to me, I understand your child is the most treasured thing in your world. Your child’s happiness, care and development matters and as a team we can ensure the best start to your child’s life and education.
If your little one leaves my setting at the end of the day happy, smiling and full of stories about the day they have had - then I know I am doing my job right!

I have experience working with and caring for children age newborn-15 years old.
I am a mum to my little girl (born in 2019)

- Unit Director for a non-profit after school and holiday club in America.

Work experience in schools/nurseries through my qualification.
My Qualifications
BTEC National Diploma in Early Years: Level 3
Introduction to Childminding (Ofsted approved course)
Safeguarding training
Full Paediatric First Aid Certificate
Food Hygiene certificate.
I continually develop and update my knowledge of childcare and education (through training and webinars), so that I can offer your little ones the best learning opportunities and outcomes based around their own individual needs.

We were so lucky Charlotte started just as I was planning my return to work! my son
loves it their, has now been going 18 months and he can't wait to go on a Monday morning! He has also made lovely little friends. Not only is it a home away from home but he learns so much, spends loads of time outdoors and going on little outings. He gets very structured learning without it feeling that way as it is centred so much around play.
The anxiety of leaving him when I returned to work was eased from the first settling in seasion and i have no doubts about leaving him in charlottes care knowing he is safe, happy and cared for 😊

Charlotte is a fab childminder. I had to go back to work very early with my first baby… 2 months old to be precise but Charlotte put me at instant ease and I’ve never once been concerned. My daughter has come on leaps and bounds since starting there and already dreading the day she needs to leave! I sent my son there at 3 months old too and again, feel completely at ease. My daughter loves Charlotte to bits and is always asking for her!’ A truly great environment for little ones :)

I will also greatly miss them one day when I’m no longer needed (but definitely not going to think about that right now 🙈) x
