About Me
I currently work as a family support worker but i am looking for babysitting and household help work on a part time basis. I only work term time in this role so I am available during school holidays. Term time I am available after 4pm.
I am a kind and caring individual with a good sense of humour and I enjoy being around children and helping others.
Family means everything to me and I love spending time with my grandson.I look after my grandson on a regular basis and I am very much part of his life which includes his learning and development.
I have no reservations about getting involved in children's activities and more often than not I can be heard singing and dancing with my grandson.
Strange as it sounds I love cleaning and tidying up.

My Experience
I have over 19 years experience of working with children and families.
I have previously worked as a child-minder and a health-visiting assistant.
I have been a volunteer for Home- Start, which supports families with children
I currently work as a Family Support Worker, whereby I support children and their families with a range of issues. I work directly with children, focusing on behavioural and emotional regulation. I have delivered positive parenting courses which supports parents to implement effective boundaries, routines and behaviour management. I've helped families clean and organise their homes.
Over the years I have undertaken many child protection courses and i have a good understanding of assessing risks. I recently completed a module to support children with attachment difficulties, and who have experienced relational trauma and loss.
My Qualifications
Health and Social Care level 3 - Children and Young People.
Accredited provider of Triple P Parenting - level 4
Access to higher education.
Protective Behaviours - level 1.
Drawing and Talking level 1 and advanced level - therapeutic method of working with children who have been traumatised.
Supporting children who have experienced relational trauma and loss - level 4

Immediate - please note I'm only available during the day when it's the school holidays or the weekend. Term time I'm available after 4pm.

Annie looked after my three year old son recently, and he had such a good time with her that on the second day he was waiting by the door for her arrival. They spent most of the time outside in the garden playing with DS's toys, drawing, reading and making paper aeroplanes. They took a few walks to the local park and went on treasure hunts returning with feathers and special sticks. DS adored the time he spent with Annie. Annie thank you so much for making the hours such fun for DS!
