I love spending time with children of all ages and feel I am able to communicate well with them and meet their needs. I am very active and enjoy having fun/adventure. I love cooking and being creative.
In my spare time I enjoy running, swimming and cooking. I love long dog walks in the countryside.
I am a qualified primary school teacher with a BA Hons First Class Degree in Primary Education. I have 7 years teaching experience with KS1. I can offer private tutoring to primary aged children.
I am currently on maternity leave after having my first daughter.

I have a wide range of experience with private tuition. I have provided support to children that need to 'close the gap' in their learning and also to children that require more of a challenge. I can support with phonics (Jolly Phonics and RWI), reading, maths and literacy. I aim to make my sessions practical, fun and 'hands on' rather than heavily worksheet based.
I have gained lots of experience working with children of all ages within school and outside of the school environment. I have previously been a nanny to twin boys (5 months-4 years), travelled away with families on holiday to provide chiIdcare as well as nannying for other children from 5 months - 11 years.

I am CRB checked. I have a full driving license and my own car. I am also First Aid trained.
