About Me

My name is Maggie. I`m a registered childminder since August 2012. My family consists of myself, my husband Adam, my daughter- age 19 and two sons age 15 and 13.

We live in Mansfield Woodhouse in a detached house, which is next to local parks and playing fields, and a short distance from local shops and School / Preschools. I use the whole ground floor and two bedrooms on the first floor for the childminding. I have fully enclosed garden available for outside play.

We live close to Crescent Primary School where I am able to take children to and from. We also do the school pick ups and drop off from Abbey Primary School.

My first language is Polish, but me and my family we are speaking fluent in both languages- Polish and English- which open our service for more families and children for whom English is a second Language.

My service is open to all children and families regardless of their gender, racial origins, culture, religion or family background.

I have completed the Induction to Home Base Childcare and Safeguarding courses. I hold a current Paediatric First- Aid Certificate. I have undergone an enhanced CRB check. Last month I have completed 4 courses: Starting out- Supporting children`s emotional well-being, The Revised EYFS, Expectations of Behaviour, Raising Developmental Concerns with Parents, Supporting Children with Speech, Language and Communication Needs and An Introduction to Children Diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. I am a member of Childminding Association- Pacey.

I work with an assistant- my husband Adam, who completed Paediatric First Aid Course and enhanced CRB check. The assistant also successfully completed Safeguarding training.

Me and my assistant we both have clean UK driving licence and both cars that are used in business purpose have valid MOT, road tax and valid business insurance policy.

I have comfortable and well equipped home and wide range of toys and games, kitchen with the dining area, and also a secured garden with the patio- decking area- used as a playground. We provide home-made healthy meals and snacks; drinks are available at all time.

I am currently open from Monday to Friday 5.00am- 4.30pm.

We are taking children to soft play area`s very often and we also arranging trips to Sherwood Pines and Clumber Park. The children have a fantastic time in our setting and we look after them with love:)
