About Me

I am a 29 year old Primary School Teacher, with 8 years experience.
I love working with children and would love the opportunity to plan fun educational outings for children whilst I mind them. I like to think I am fun to be around, and children respond well to me. I am looking for children to childmind/tutor, at primary school level.
I am currently in maternity leave with my 6 month old daughter, Erin.

My Experience

I have been teaching primary pupils for 8 years, mostly pupils aged 5-8, but recently I have had pupils aged from 4-12 as I have been teaching the whole school Computing skills. I have really enjoyed getting to know all ages.

I have planned many trips out, and have really enjoyed helping children learn through new experiences.

I have been tutoring pupils for over 3 years, in a range of primary school subjects. I am happy to tutor whilst childminding if you wish.

I am registered with Childcare Choices, the government voucher scheme.

My Qualifications

A* and 8A GCSE's, 5 Highers, Biology Degree, and PGDE.
I have had training on food hygiene, epi pens/ first aid, child protection and others, and this will help me plan safe activities for your children.

My Availability

I am available from mid August, Monday to Friday 8am-6pm.

I have my own car, and will be able to do school drop offs/pick ups.
