About Me

Working and teaching within UHNW private families in the music and film industry, confidentiality is key. Due to my teaching background with over 15 years teaching experience in private homes, special and mainstream- primary and secondary schools, my loving and kind (but certainly firm!) nature, I should be considered for your post. I also work with children with learning difficulties, disabilities and autism. I have worked with such a broad range of people throughout my career movement that has allowed me the time to develop my communication and interpersonal skills. Volunteering and working with disadvantaged people around the world is something I am very passionate about. I am fun, reliable and a hard-working recruit- showing character, creativity and personality in all I do.

For children engaged in music and learning instruments, being a pianist myself with a music diploma, I will be of value when it comes to home learning and practice. Please see my CV for all my relevant experience and qualifications.

Being the eldest of eight siblings, I am used to caring for children of all ages in a fast paced and loving family dynamic.

I believe in nurturing a child‘s natural curiosity, fostering their desire to grow and learn, as well as actively engaging with them. I structure the days and allow our children to flourish within set boundaries. I am a fun, reliable and responsible person who is ready for my new role starting in September 2023.

I have flawless and contactable references.

My Experience

Career History

Nanny/Household Manager and PA, London - June 2022- present
I am currently working for the most amazing UHNW family of 3 (G-7) who have come over to London from America to work in the film industry for 1 year. Some duties include, confidentiality and NDA, finding and furnishing a rental property for their time in London, managing shipments to and from the USA, bookings, holidays, all household management, dog training, all childcare duties including teaching music, private homework, extracurricular activities and helping on set in the film studios. My contract will end in August so I am looking for my next opportunity to start around September 2023.

Temp Nanny/ PA, London - October 21- June 2022
I took on these temporary roles for families, including one VHNW family in the music industry, until I found my perfect match. My duties included confidentiality and NDA, school pickups, homework, job searching/interview prep, cooking healthy meals for the families, planning outdoor activities and lots of creative, fun learning (plus lots of yoga!) as well as general house management and PA duties.
June-July 2022 Alexandra Palace (B1, G3)
April-May 2022 Hampstead Garden Suburb (G-2)
January-April 2022 Muswell Hill (G-13, G15)
October-December 2021 Hampstead Garden Suburb (G 8months)

Governess/ Nanny, London - October 2020 - October 2021
Here, I worked for a great VHNW family in West Hampstead, with a mix of sole and shared care for their four children (G-3, B-6, B-7, B-11) , two of which have Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC), one who has ADHD and ERD and Type 1 diabetes. Playing an active role in all homeschooling during government lockdowns due to Covid-19, the after-school routines for all children. Being aware and alert to diabetes needs in both meal preparation and administering medication was an imperative part of my role. The children all played instruments and had other after-school sports activities to which I would assist with training and taking them to and from. Being highly capable, positive, bringing my own ideas and experiences added value to the household. In addition, I supported the housework, cooking meals, all private schoolwork and homework in this fully staffed home.

Nanny, London - December 2018 - October 2020
I worked as a Nanny alongside my teaching role at Krishna Avanti Primary School, taking sole care of a little girl (G-8) whose mother has ongoing health issues, meaning she sometimes has long durations in hospital where I take sole care of her. My duties included getting her up and ready for school, cooking all meals and completing homework. I also organised playdates and enrichment activities.

Well-being and Childrens Entertainer, Captain Fantastic - November 2019 - December 2020
I worked part-time as an Entertainer performing magic, jokes and games, over a range of parties including character roles such as a superhero. I have started developing after-school club sessions covering concepts such as resiliency, tolerance, well-being and confidence. As the leading children’s specialists in entertainment, we covered and explored these tough concepts in a much easier and fun way that children can engage with and understand.

Yoga Teacher and SEND support, Krishna Avanti Primary school, Harrow, London - January 2017 – December 2020
I previously worked at this school as SEND supply via the agency ‘Bond recruitment’ from January 2016, until the school employed me directly in January 2017. In January 2019 I was promoted to the role of Yoga Teacher, and developed a yoga curriculum to show progression across school life. My role has enabled me to work closely with children from Nursery across to Year 6, discussing philosophy, mindfulness and meditation techniques as well as yoga ‘asana’ practice. I was very happy to keep my role and responsibilities supporting SEND across the school alongside my new role.

Volunteer Teacher, Safisha Africa, Nairobi, Kenya - October 2016 - December 2016
During my volunteer placement, I supported over 200 children in underdeveloped areas who do not have the opportunity to go to school due to affordability and family issues. I was hosted by a local family for cultural exchange and provided direct service of teaching, education materials and facilities, and meals. I raised over £1.5k from a sponsored climb of Mt. Kilimanjaro, which provided the school with clean running water, electricity, and medical bills for a seriously ill child, alongside a year's worth of monthly visits from a doctor to perform regular check-ups for the children.

SEND Support, Krishna Avanti Primary School, Bond Recruitment - January 2016 - October 2016
In this Learning Support role I work directly with children with disabilities and neurological disorders in accordance with OFSTED, school and government guidelines. Specialising in autism, dyslexia, diabetes, global delay and other chromosome abnormalities. After 10 month placement at this school, I was keen to accept a permanent position after returning from my volunteer placement in Kenya.

Helluva Tour- September 2015- January 2016
I had a brilliant travel opportunity to participate in an online campaign which involved me driving a golden bus across the world from Bristol, England, to Melbourne, Australia, with three strangers taking part in cultural challenges in different countries along the way.

Personal Banker, Santander, Edgware, London- October 2014 – September 2015
As a personal banker for one of the UK’s leading Banks I was responsible for securing new business through the strategic development of new and existing relationships.

SEND Support, Childs Hill Primary School, Sugarman Education Agency - June 2012- September 2014
In this rewarding role, I worked one-to-one with pupils to enhance their learning and understanding through play and lessons, specialising in autism, Down’s syndrome, physical growth delays and learning disabilities. I demonstrated skills such as Makaton sign language.

Youth Engagement Officer, Future Voices International and Empowering Asia - January 2012 - May 2012
I developed media training programs for young people living in poverty in Bangladesh and Nepal, targeting deprived regions, rural villages and cities. Working in the ‘media schools’, I generated constructive and innovative ideas that positively impacted society, and I raised £1k from a sponsored trek to Mt. Everest base camp. Money raised by these charity fundraisers went towards the program itself, ECDC (The Butterfly Home for children) and Maiti Foundation, who works with girls and women affected by the trafficking industry.

Learning Support and Behaviour Management, London- June 2010 - January 2012
Alongside my SEND support role in listed agencies below, I was also enrolled as an Office Administrator, responsible for collating and monitoring student attendances, investigating absenteeism and where necessary, conducting meetings with parents and guardians to increase attendance rates.
Agencies I worked for simultaneously, including some of the long-term school placements:
Kingsbury Green Primary School, Sugarman Education Agency, 2010
Grove Park SEND School, Sugarman Education Agency, 2010
Ray Lodge Primary school, London Teaching Supply, 2010
Russet House Primary School, London Teaching Supply, 2010-2011
Durants Secondary School, London Teaching Supply, 2011

Volunteer Assistant, CAPAG, London- August 2009- September 2012
During my days off from my management position at All Saints, I volunteered at this children's outreach program to work with children with Special Educational Needs. My duties involved helping and encouraging the children with work and academics, play areas and fun day trips. The program provides quality learning support for children and young adults in need of structured social development. It certainly confirmed my enthusiasm to work in an environment with children that require social skills interaction, academic support and behavioural management.

Volunteer Builder and Teacher, Platform2 , Pachacutect, Peru - March 2010 - June 2010
In this volunteer placement for the Department For International Development (DFID) I worked in one of the poorest and overpopulated areas of Peru. Work involved learning building skills to develop a property to completion, and creating a teaching program for children, teens and adults. Working with the locals with ongoing projects eg. improving community centres. Learning Spanish was an essential way to communicate with locals and my homestay family.

Counselor, Camp Northwood, New York, USA - June 2008 - August 2008
(My position was held at Karen Millen whilst I was on this work placement) Throughout my duration at Camp America I supported children with Autism and learning difficulties, improving social and communication skills. In this program, I centred my work with the children around drama, art, academia and physical education.

Assistant Manager, Karen Millen, Brent Cross and Queensway, London - May 2005 - March 2010 In addition to the daily logistics associated with the role I was responsible for training & development of new and existing staff, motivating and supporting staff to ensure that monthly/quarterly sales targets were consistently met, highlighting and addressing any shortfalls.
