About Me

I am married with 2 grown up children . I live in a semi detached house with secure garden. I worked as a Special Needs Auxilary in a primary school for 3 years. I am registered by Care Inspectorate and a member of Scottish Childminding Association. I have been childminding since 2008 and thoroughly enjoy it. My main priority is that any child in my care is always happy and contented and that they are able to play and mix with others in a home environment. I provide a range of toys and books for all age ranges. We do arts and crafts, baking,gardening, visit the local parks and libraries. I have no pets and have a smoke free house. My Experience

I have the experience of being a mother to my 2 children. I did an Introduction to Child Development course at College. I completed an Induction course on Additional Special Needs. I worked for 3 years as a Special Needs Auxilary, working with a little downs syndrome child. I also helped the class teacher and other children in the class, supervising in the playground and cafeteria or in the classroom during wet play/lunch and communicating with the parent of the special needs child via home/school daily diary.Since childminding I have attended all training courses provide by West Dunbartonshire Council.

My Qualifications

I have an ESF NC Childcare Certificate, Induction Course on Additional Special Needs Certificate, First Aid Certificate, Child Protection Certificate, Nutritional Guidelines Certificate, Elementary Food Hygiene Certificate, Allergy Awareness Certificate, Building Partnerships With Parents Certificate, Assertiveness Certificate, Bakewell Certificate and Birth to Three Responsiveness Certificate, Covid19 Awareness Certificate, Infection & Control Certificate and Hand Hygiene Certificate.

My Availability

I have vacancies for either full time or part time care also after school care . I am flexible about the hours I work. I can accommodate children from 7.30 am till 6.00 pm Monday to Friday all year round. Please contact me for further information.
