About Me
Hi I have a level3 N.N.E.B nursery nurse diploma,a level 5 in childcare, an assessor certificate, safeguarding, fGM, prevent, health and safety, level 2 IAG certificate.
Up to date first aid in paediatrics first aid the Ofsted recognised one of 12 hours. I have experience of working with children from birth to 18 years in a variety settings.
I love my career and enjoy the challenges that children can bring.
I love horses and dogs and so enjoy the outdoors too.
I also like educating children according to the early years foundation stage seen in schools and nurseries and have experience in this with activities based on children's interests.
I do like messy activities including baking and craft activities too. I also own my own car.
My Experience
I have been a nursery nurse for 25 years and during that time i have worked as a nanny, a nursery nurse in a nursery head of pre school, also provided cover for various rooms throughout the nursery from the baby room to toddlers to pre school to eventually becoming a manager of an after school club.
I have monitored and evaluated childrens behaviour, play, eating habits, and provided activities to enhance these.
i have potty trained, made meal plans, activity plans, administered medicines, supervised play inside and outside arranged trips, made profiles,given advice to parents organized christmas plays.

My children are now 15 months and 4 and a half and have been going to Torva's since last September. My son attends 4.5 days per week and my daughter goes before and after school.
If there was an "outstanding" option for this review I would choose it; Torva absolutely deserves her Ofsted grade!! She is organised, creative, caring, thoughtful and knowledgable. My children adore her and often don't want to come home!!! The meals she prepares are varied, healthy and tasty, the activities she puts on are fun, interesting and educational and the way she has welcomed my children, and me, into her family is wonderful.
Torva's husband and children are equally lovely and the entire atmosphere is one of a loving, caring, happy family home.
I am absolutely confident that my children are in the best place and I would not hesitate in recommending Torva to anyone seeking childcare.
