I am an energetic, cheerful and passionate person. I love looking after little ones and enjoy seeing them develop and grow. I am Ofsted registered, DBS checked, hold a full clean driving licence, a level 3 food hygiene certificate and hold a Paediatric first aid certificate.
I had my Ofsted inspection in May 2022 and received 'Good' grade. Ofsted number available on request.
I live in Stoke Gifford, within walking distance of Parkway Station. I have a lovely setting, providing a home from home environment with a nice playroom with an array of toys and a safe enclosed garden. I have blackboards, play house, patio area and other outdoor toys. I am an experience cook and will provide a balanced and nutritional meal and snack for the children whilst in my care.
I am married to Russell and we have a beautiful 13 year old Daughter.
My Experience
I have years of experience with children both at home and at work and of course being a mummy to my little girl. I am currently studying the Early years Foundation stage and have been looking after children since I was 14. I am always the one cooing at little once and first to join in with games and play.
I am passionate and love seeing little ones learning and developing. I am a member at the zoo and love the outdoors in the fresh air. We attend lots of playgroups, visit parks, play areas, local walks, libraries, farms and exploring new places of interest.
I have worked in Nursery & school settings. I am a mum to my 11 year old daughter and have been babysitting since I was 14. I have attended south Gloucestershire council introduction to Childminding course. I have a Level 3 food hygiene certificate. Whilst in my care, I actively encourage a routine with the children with the added excitement of daily activities such as messy play, cooking, arts and crafts, outdoor play, plus individual activities and group games.

I work Tuesday - Friday, 8am - 6pm. Full days all year round available from September 2024. Please contact me if you would like an information pack or to go onto my waiting list.
I do school drop off's and collections from St Michaels C of E school, Radcliffe Drive, Stoke Gifford.

My Fees

£5.50 per hour includes meals, snack, drink and outings.

My son has attended Yvonnes setting for before and after school wrap around care since he started in Reception class, and I can honestly say he has loved being cared for by Yvonne. He is so happy to go into her house each day, and I know he will leave each evening with a smile as he is always well cared for!
Yvonne has also supported us a lot with making sure our sons dietary needs are met, and has helped us collect information for our sons hospital consultant when it was needed - not an easy task!
Yvonne really works hard to understand your childs personality, and provides activities that are engaging and interesting for the kids - you couldn't ask for more!
