About Me
Hi my name is Caroline Roy
I am a fully registered SCSWIS & insured SCMA childminder and I am a Partnership Provider with Fife Council, offering 1,140 hours of funded Early Learning and Childcare (ELC) for eligible 2 year olds and all 3 & 4 year olds.
You can get up to 1,140 hours of funded early learning and childcare a year (around 30 hours a week in term time) Also can split shared care with a nursery if your child is 3 or 4 years old. Some 2 year olds are also eligible. in Fife
As a Childminder i aim to provide a caring environment where children are encouraged to achieve their full potential and where the needs of the individual are met. As a mum I totally understand the need to get a childminder that you feel comfortable with and so if you would like to meet me for an informal chat please feel free to get in touch.
I have many activities for the children in my care including, lots of Arts and Crafts, jigsaws, dress-up, dolls house, cars, lego, hama beads, outdoor play, games, balls, tents, many many toys for all age groups, computers, DVDs, DS, books, messy time, occasional baking, visiting the local park and toddler groups .I also love taking the children out and about eg local transport, places of interest, local walks in woods, and during the school holidays, trips to special places further afield.
My Experience
I have been a fully registered childminder for 25 years , looking after a wide range of age groups from 3 months to 12 years+. This as well as being a mother of two this has given me a vast wealth of experience in caring for the needs of all age groups, and personalities!
At my recent yearly inspection by the Care Commission I was graded as a 5 - very good (out of a possible 6)
I have many satisfied parents who are willing to give honest references for my service

My Availability
I have spaces available for full and part-time and am available for school drop-off and collection. I can also collect/drop-off at local nurseries/playgroups.
My hours are Mon to Fri 8am to 6pm
My hours are flexible and would discuss to see what would suit yourself and me. Having previously had to organise childcare around my work I know how difficult this can be.

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.50 per hour
My hourly rate is £5.00 for part/full time and £5.50 for before and after school
All other payment periods,e.g. holidays will be discussed with parents at meeting
