About Me
I am an OFSTED registered childminder living in the Nork/Banstead area. I live with my husband and my son. I am here to offer your child/ren a secure, fun environment where they can thrive, whilst also providing a caring, ‘home from home’ atmosphere.
I have a large airy playroom leading onto a secure garden. The children are encouraged to play outside, enjoying the various activities (mud kitchen, sit and rides and water activities)
On a daily basis we all like to keep busy and interactive, whether this involves attending local toddler groups, parks , farms, or taking part in some constructive indoor play and activities such as arts and crafts or the children’s favourite – messy play!
Throughout the year we grow many fruit and vegetables and the children help with the planting, watering and of course eating.
Wildlife is all a big part of their learning so we spend a lot of time out and about, bug hunting, bird spotting, and identifying different trees and leaves.
Learning through experiences is so important to a child’s learning, so I aim to give them as many experiences as possible, from as young as possible.
The children are all provided with well balanced healthy meals, and they are encouraged to be adventurous with their food, as well as getting involved with the cooking.
My Experience
In addition to raising my own three children, I have many years experience in childcare which has undeniably made me the childminder I am today. Several of the children I began my childcare career with (who are now in their late 20's) I am still in touch with.

Sharon is a brilliant, professional and caring childminder who always puts the children first. My son went to Sharon’s from the age of 6 months until he started school. My youngest also went to Sharon’s.
She creates a fantastic day for the children, this includes lots of fun, educational activities inside and outside ensuring that the children are able to experience as much as possible.
Each child is treated as an individual and I have always been kept fully informed about what my children have been up to and achieved. Both my children absolutely loved going to Sharon’s. She is one in a million and we were very lucky that both our children were under her care.

Sharon has looked after both of my daughters on a regular basis for 8 years now. My oldest (9) enjoys days with Sharon so much that we have to promise to send her in school holidays, even though she doesn't need to go.
Both of my girls love being looked after by Sharon and she always ensures that the days are fun packed, educational and stimulating.
I couldn't recommend Sharon higher if you are looking for a dependable childminder, Sharon has never let us down in all these years.

My son has been with Sharon for the past 8 months since I returned to work when he was 10 months old. The thought of returning to work and leaving my son was a daunting prospect, and after visiting a number of childminders, I knew I didn't have to look any further once I found her.
Sharon provides a wonderful, organised, warm and caring "home from home" environment for children and takes them out to new and interesting places most days. My son loves spending time at Sharon's and is always happy and full of chatter when I pick him up. After a day at work I'm always very envious of the delicious smells of the home cooked meal the children have just had!
Outdoor play is always encouraged and my kitchen wall is full of evidence of the creative activities they get up to. I would highly recommend Sharon to anyone searching for an exceptional childminder.

Sharon has looked after our 3 year old daughter since my return to work 2 years ago. We have been so lucky to find her! Sharon has a wealth of experience, a kind and compassionate nature and an intuitive understanding of children. Our daughter loves spending time at Sharon's house and takes part in lots of activities. Sharon is very flexible and responsive to our needs and always has a friendly welcoming smile. I honestly couldn't recommend her more.
