About Me
Hi. My name is Clare and I am married with 3 children. I am Ofsted registered and have been a nanny for a number of years. Prior to this I was a primary school teaching assistant. I have worked for a babysitting agency for 14 years looking after children newborn to early teens. I have 5 stars for parent satisfaction, reliability and availability.
My Experience
Having worked for nearly 20 years in marketing I decided to retrain as a teaching assistant to fit work around my own 3 children. Approximately 10 years ago I decided to become a nanny. I have experience working with all ages of children and have worked in an infant school and a secondary school. I have looked after children including very young babies and 3 sets of twins.
My Qualifications
I am a qualified Teaching Assistant and have an assessing qualification so i can assess learners who wish to qualify as a teaching assistant. I have NVQ Level 3 in Children's Care, Learning and Development and adult teaching qualifications Pttls and Cttls. I have done lots of training courses related to health and safety and safeguarding in connection with my work in schools. I am Ofsted registered with paediatric first aid and public liability insurance.
I am a non smoking mother of 3 children aged 26, 23 and 18.
I have a Paedriatic first aid certificate and I am on the DBS update service. I also have nanny insurance.
My car is insured for business use and I have a clean driving licence.
My Availability
I have more flexibility now that my children are growing up so I am available to babysit on an adhoc basis during the week and nanny during the day.

My Fees
- Nannying from £13.50 per hour (gross)
- Babysitting from £11.50 per hour
My fees vary dependent on what your requirements are. I charge an evening babysitting rate of around £12 per hour and a daytime rate of around 13.50 per hour but this depends on hours, location, number of children and what is required.

Clare is an excellent babysitter! She made an instant connection with my young son and both of us, she is so easy to get along with. She is one of those truly gifted people who immediately put you at your ease and I hope she will sit for us again in the future. As parents who don't get chance to get out much it's so reassuring to know we can relax and enjoy the evening knowing our little man is in the best of care.
