About Me
Hello. I am 35 years old and a fully qualified Nursery Nurse with 15 years experience in childcare. Ten years in private nursery settings and 5 years nannying. I have been in Westhill a for 5 years now. I thoroughly enjoy working with children and I am very passionate about my work. I am a very hardworking, reliable and honest person and love organising a range of day to day activities for the children to participate in whilst ensuring satisfactory development, which I feel is very important. I enjoy new challenges and I am very willing to learn anything that I am asked to do. Nannying has been a great opportunity for me and I love having more of a one to one and seeing the children develop and learn each day. I love doing lots of different messy play, art and craft activities, sensory and physical activities (fine and gross motors skills) to keep the children busy and occupied so they are having lots of fun. Outdoor play is also good allowing the children to explore and have lots of fun using their imaginative skills. Muddy puddy walks, gardening, a minibeast search with magnifying glasses and a variety of other ideas. I am very artistic which the children I care for love as we do lots of art and crafts. I also introduce letters and numbers and activities that focus on their development and promote independence. I ensure that I give the children lots of praise and encouragement and I support them at all times if needed (e.g in their development)
Also happy to do baking but I’m not a top baker haha but as long as it’s edible and the kids love helping out with baking too. I was employed by a lovely family of 4 children for 4 years. The twins I cared for were only 12 months old when I started and a 3 and 5 year old. :) Then I nannied for another family for a year until last month. I do hold a driving licence. I am ideally looking for a family in the Westhill area or surroundings.
I have a son that is 6 years old (7in August) and a daughter that is 4 in May (2023)

My Experience
I am a fully qualified Nursery Practitioner with supervisory experience in all nursery settings I have worked in. I have been working fulltime in child care since leaving secondary school several years ago during which time I have studied to achieve SVQ level 2 and 3. I have a range of experience working as part of a team, co-ordinating daily activities and monitoring both staff and children. I worked in my first employment 5 years where I gained my qualification. I mainly worked with children aged 2-5 years in this setting reaching supervisory level in the preschool department which I held for 1 year. I then moved on to my second private setting where I reached supervisory level just after one month. My role in this setting was the Baby room supervisor caring for 15 babies with 4 other staff.I worked at this setting for Two years. I also worked in a baby room in another two nursery settings as a supervisor working with babies aged 0-2 years. I found this very enjoyable but I wanted a new challenge so I found a lovely family to nanny for which I have did for just under 4 years. I really enjoy nannying. Please see availability :)

My Fees
- Babysitting from £11.00 per hour
- Nannying from £11.00 per hour (gross)
This all depends on the amount of children I will be caring for and the duties required in contract. I have 14 years experience with children aged 0-10 years. Also experience with twins from a young age and a baby as young as 6 weeks. I would be looking for around £11 hourly but this could be discussed before hand with what requirements I would be needed for and the duties that I would be required to carry out. Thank you
