Hi there,
I am an OFSTED registered childminder rated OUTSTANDING September 2016 and GOOD 2022
I am a mother to two wonderful daughters, who are in high school.
I live in Padgate, Warrington.
I am very much an outdoorsy childminder, taking full advantage of the nature and walks around us.
I have worked with children since leaving college and have gained some valuable experience and knowledge.
I have vast knowledge in safeguarding children from training and past roles.
I have a range of qualifications and experience that enables me to provide good quality care and lots of fun for your precious little ones.
I have a Diploma in Social Work, level 3 in Care And level 3 in children and young people workforce, plus much more as I like to keep highly trained and up to date.
I am an honest, hard working, flexible and a reliable person.
I take pride in my job as an early years provider
I strictly follow the Early Years Foundation Stages, government legislation and guidance and am very professional in my role.
My Experience
Being a mum to my two daughters, who are in a local high school.
I worked for 15 years within a residential school for children with severe physical and learning disabilities and epilepsy, I was a junior house manager for one of the houses.
I then worked within that same centres social work office providing support and advice to both children and adults with learning disabilities.
I have lead in safeguarding issues and liaised with many professionals surrounding an individuals care.
I trained all staff, within the centre, in safeguarding.
I then moved to social services of Cheshire east, within the child protection unit, receiving all new safeguarding referrals, loading them and gathering information about a child and their family
I have also worked in a local preschool for 2 + years.
Inspected in September 2012 with 'GOOD' by ofsted, September 2016 OUTSTANDING
And GOOD IN 2022.
My Qualifications
I have;
An NVQ Health and Social care advanced.
An NVQ in care level 3
Diploma in social work with open university
Level 3 in children and young people workforce
I have also completed many training courses and sessions to enable me to fulfill my above roles such as manual handling courses, health and safety, achieving best evidence for social work and safeguarding procedures
I have completed the local authority childminder training
I have completed a pediatric first aid course, which I do every 3 years.
My Availability
I am available Monday - Friday full or part time places
I do provide snacks and drinks. Children bring packed lunches from home.
I do offer the 15 and 30 hours FUNDED 2 , 3 and 4 year old placements in partnership with warrington borough council. This can be split or used fully.

My Fees
- Childminding from £4.50 per hour
I am able to offer FUNDED 2 year old and 3 / 4 year old funded placements via warrington borough council with whom I have a contract with.
I also offer private places with contracts with families.
Payments depend upon hours / days attending
Term time only or all Year care available
I am Open 730am till 5pm Monday too Thursday and 730am till 1pm on a Friday

Clare was our childminder for 4 years, looking after our daughter 4 days per week. We had heard rave reviews about Clare and knew as soon as we met that she would be perfect for us too!
Clare creates a safe and fun environment for the children all whilst helping them grow and learn. Our daughter has grown with confidence and kindness with the help of Clare raising her whilst we both work.
It’s so hard to return to work after having a baby but knowing our daughter was being cared for by Clare made it so much easier.
We were so sad to leave Clare to go to school this September, but she has helped to nurture our child into the strong little lady she is, who is more than ready for the next step! The sadness is only testament to how amazing our experience with Clare has been.

Our little boy went to Clare for 4 years. He has just started school and was given confidence, independence and so much nurturing from Clare. Clare offers outdoor learning and exploring most days and the friends and relationships he made have been fantastic. Clare always went above and beyond for our little boy, nothing was too much trouble and he shone when in her care, getting a love of animals which has been brilliant for him.
Clare is so caring, nurturing and really wants the best for the children in her care. I can't recommend her highly enough! If you need a childminder, this is the lady to call!
