43 years old with 17 years of childcare experience ranging from swimming coaching, preschool teaching to nannying and then running my own childminding business for 4 years after my daughter was born (She is currently in Year 9 at Bennett Memorial in Tunbridge Wells).
I am British/South African and have lived in the UK permanently since 2005. As well as a diploma in Montessori preschool teaching, I have qualifications in holistic therapies (reflexology and meridian therapy NQF level 5, aromatherapy (Level 3), seated acupressure massage (level3) and sports massage (Level 3)) and A Foundation Degree in Art (Level 5). I am CRB/DBS checked and have a valid paediatric first aid certificate, amongst others relating to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). I have experience working with neurodiversity.
I have a love of and interest in general health and fitness, art, reading, craft, sewing, design appreciation and interior decoration.
I enjoy being active and try and exercise in any form, tennis in particular, when I get the chance and enjoy being in the countryside.
We are a gluten & dairy free household and I enjoy the challenge of finding new and exciting ways of making and baking with alternatives.

My two children were with Maryanne from June-July of this year for a short period as i am now leaving work...In the time they have been with her they have developed so much. They are more confident, outgoing and have advanced in a lot of primary skills. They absolutely love spending time with Maryanne and Lyla-Rose. My children have such great fun whilst there, participating in activities every day and going on lots of days out, they always have lovely stories to tell me at the end of the day. I am personally a little picky about who looks after my children....i think we as mums all are but Maryanne is so loving, caring and fantastic with my kids i would recommend her to anyone! My kids will be very upset about leaving her and i will be sad to lose such a great minder. Couldnt recommend her enough!!!!
