About Me
My name is Tracey Lawford and I have been a registered Ofsted Childminder since 2003. In January 2020, I was graded 'Good' by Ofsted.
My husband, Robert Lawford, is also an Ofsted registered Childminder, achieving a 'Good' rating by Ofsted, and together we deliver a home-based, high quality level of care and development to children of all ages within our setting. We have been co-childminding for 12 years now.
School pick up and drop offs include Etching Hill and Chancel Primary Schools.
We are very active in the community, and frequently visit local Stay and Play Groups, Forest School sessions, Playgroups, Natural Trust locations, Wildwood Park (Stafford), Wolseley Nature Park, Cannock Chase, plus other Childminder settings..
We also run a Childminding Group in Rugeley, at the Community Centre in Rugeley. These sessions provide a perfect opportunity for child-minded children to make new friends and grow their all important social and physical skills to aid with their development.
My Experience
I have been a Childminder since 2003, and have worked with many babies, toddlers, young and older children, and my Husband since December 2011.
My Qualifications
At present, I hold the BA (Hon) in Early Childhood Studies, Level 6. I have recently completed the Forest School Level 3 qualification.
My husband has just completed the Foundation Degree in Early Childhood Studies (Level 6). He also holds the Cache Level 3 Childcare Diploma for the Children and Young People's Workforce.
We frequently attend Local Authority/Entrust courses to ensure our core training remains up to date and relevant.
My Availability
Monday 7.30am - 5.45pm, Tuesday to Thursday 7.30am - 6.00pm and Friday 7.30am - 5.30pm; other requirements can be discussed.
School holiday cover can usually be arranged - please contact me to discuss further
We usually take the last two weeks of August as our annual holiday, plus the fortnight over the Christmas period, so we believe that we are very flexible, and pride ourselves in doing everything we can to help parents and children.

My Fees
- Childminding from £4.00 per hour

We are registered for Tax Free Childcare and offer 15 or 30 hour funded childcare.
