About Me
My name is Sarah i live with my husband Danny and our 4 children Joseph who is 19, Isaak who is 16,Nylah who is 9 years old and Sienna (know as cece) who is 3 all in full time education. I am 39 years old and have wanted to work with children since i was very young. I am an Ofsted registrated childminder and have been for over 15 years now. I love my job and as the mother of 4, 2 being young children i value the importance of high quality early years child care and wish to be able to use my skills and knowledge to be able to provide this for other children enabling their parents to work in the knowledge that their children are being well cared for in a safe, stimulating learning environment.
I am very excited to announce that I have a new assistant called Sian joining me from middle-end of April and have spaces available. Sian used to be an ofsted registered Childminder before going to work in schools and is a mother to 3 so has lots of experience.
Have a 2 year old child that is entitled to free 15 hours funding, not sure they are ready for nursery yet? Here at my Childmiding setting I offer the free 15 hours childcare for two year olds. They get to socialise, make friends, play, learn, explore and express themselves in a home from home environment. I offer morning, afternoon and day sessions.
I have a set topic each half term which I plan all activities and outings around, I let parents know of what we will be doing and lots of photos to follow of your little treasures enjoying taking part and having fun with their friends.

My Experience
I have 4 children of my own and I have been childminding for 14 years. before having my own children i have looked after a friends little girl for 4 months whilst she was looking for a childminder, baby sat for a number of people i was also an au pair for a family with 4 year old twins and a new baby.
I also have lots of experience with twins as there are 3 sets in my family two identical and one set unidentical. I have also looked after identical twin boys as a childminder.

arah is a rare gem, a wonderful childminder who our son adored! Even after our first visit jj was so settled and comfortable with her.jj has been with Sarah since he was 2 yrs old she has helped him with his speech and language help potty training him with in a week.jj loves going there 4 days a week it give me peace of mind when I am at work that he is very happy and always busy with fun activities she does and outings very week. He is good to really miss going there when he starts school in September
I was impressed with her preperation too, equal if not surpassing the information we get from his nursery school she sent us home with a CD of all her policies. It is clear that Sarah takes her role very seriously providing us with weekly plans of fun activities and itineraries to keep the children busy. She networks with other childminders and they get together weekly giving the opportunity for the children to socialise with other children. Weekly outings are also planned.
Sarah is ultra organised, her home is spotless and her family welcoming. She shows unquestionable dedication to her role and the children she cares for. She will be a hard act to follow and has certainly raised the bar in my expectations of what a stimulating, loving and high quality environment childminders can provide.

We spent a lot of time looking for Childminders (and nurseries) before we found Sarah to look after the boys (then 9 months and 5 years). We went to see her and instantly knew that she was the one to look after the boys. She’s super organised and puts the kids first. When went back to work and I can honestly say that I never thought about my kids as I knew they were being well looked after.
My boys adore Sarah and her boys and husband and are forever wanting to go her house to play. She’s made my kids (and us) feel welcome in her home which she keeps child friendly and nothing is too much.
She even for my sons first birthday held him a little birthday party. I really can’t recommend Sarah enough, when I dropped my kids off there was never any tears shed and they never wanted to leave her when I came to pick them up.
She’s always playing with the children and teaching them values and morals that both my boys still remember.
Unfortunately our circumstances changed when we had another addition but I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Sarah she is brilliant, well organised and I’m sure your kids will love her as much as mine do.

Overall
Sarah is an amazing mummy and child care provider. She always has a schedule of fun events / activities for the children to participate in and they always have fun. Sarah also provides healthy and nutritious meals to the children in her care and there is always a meal planner on the wall. I found this most helpful whilst she looked after my then 4 year old son. I was able to see what meals he would be having and which activities they would participate in on a daily basis. Sarah looked after my son whilst our regular childminder was away getting married. Myself and my partner both work 12hours shifts, and Sarah was very accommodating to our needs and the hours we required care. My son had lots of fun whilst with Sarah and she left a positive lasting impression on him, as once he learned we were going back to our regular childminder, he kept asking to go back to Sarah's!

Detailed meal and snack rotas change regularly and are always healthy and include home cooked meals.
Sarah is ultra organised, her home is spotless and her family welcoming. I only wish we had found her sooner as we had to move away from the area after a short while. She shows unquestionable dedication to her role and the children she cares for. She will be a hard act to follow and has certainly raised the bar in my expectations of what a stimulating, loving and high quality environment childminders can provide.
