About Me
After working for over six years as an Ofsted registered childminder, we relocated in South Somerset. I have consistent experience in childcare of children aged 2 months to 11 years old. Before childminding, I had worked as an after school nanny and before that I had a small English language school abroad. Currently I work as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school. I am available for babysitting on weekends.
Looking after children is what I know best. I enjoy encouraging them to grow and learn in a happy and safe environment, whether indoors or outside.
My Experience
I was an Ofsted Registered Childminder until 2018, when I decided to gain experience in schools as a Teaching Assistant. I am about to start teaching training to qualify as a primary school teacher. I have a BA degree in Education from the University of Worcester.
I have over 20 years’ experience in working with children of various ages as a school tutor abroad. I have training in early years development and a thorough understanding of their needs according to their age
I am happy to share work references of previous parents/clients and employers.
My Qualifications
In September, I start my teaching training with the University of Exeter.

Foundation Degree in Teaching and Learning (Level 5) University of Worcester
As a former qualified Registered Childminder, I completed the Level 2CACHE course, as well as the required Paediatric First Aid (renewable every three years), Food Hygiene and Safeguarding Lead (renewable every two years).
My Availability
I am available to babysit locally on weekends and during the summer holidays on a part-time basis.
