My Experience
Ofsted Outstanding on my last three inspections.
My name is Denise and I live with my husband and son in a spacious bungalow in West Christchurch. I have delivered childcare to many wonderful families over the past fourteen years, helping children to develop and grow, and be ready for their next steps in life.
I pride myself in providing a welcoming, nurturing, home environment which is challenging, with endless opportunities for children to explore.
My Qualifications
I hold an NVQ3 in Children’s Care, Learning and Development and a Level 3 Award in ‘Speech, Language and Communication for Children and Young People 0-25 years’.
I hold a current Paediatric first aid certificate, a Level 1 and Level 2 award in Food Safety and a Level 3 in Safeguarding Children.
To date I have received certificates for 200+ different training courses that daily improve the outcomes for all the children in my care.
I am a self-reflective practitioner and I am always looking to improve my provision for the children. We enjoy fun activities based around the ‘Every Child a Talker’ and ‘I Can’ talk good practise guidelines; and are registered with campaigns such as Change4life and the pre-school educational programme Taste for Life. The children have fallen in love with the activities and they are requested alongside music, dance, cooking, painting and all the other firm favourites.
My Availability
Vacancies on a Monday, Thursday and Friday from mid January 2024.
I care for children between 7.30am - 5.30pm Monday to Thursday, 7.30am - 5.00pm Friday. I aim to always be flexible to help meet the different needs of the families and the children in my care.
There is a minimum session of 8 hours.
I close Bank Holiday Mondays, and between Christmas Eve and New Year's Day inclusive. There is no charge when my service is not available.
