I have excellent references, I'm readily self employed if needed to be. I'm also a very good time keeper and very reliable as in this kind of job I understand that if I don't turn up for work it makes life difficult for you too!.
I'm easy going, have a good sense of humour and I am patient and kind. I also believe that a consistent routine is very important to the children that I work with.
I enjoy cooking and I can prepare healthy and balanced meals for children from birth to 16.
Light housework duties and cleaning and tidying of children's bedrooms included.
I'm also happy to do school pick up and drop offs in and around the cannock area.

My Experience
I have 25 years experience raising my own son who is polite and well mannered. I trained as a nursery nurse within a nursery setting and understand the needs of the pre school child first and foremost but i have also had experience with school age children between the ages 3 and 14 too. I have prepared healthy meals for children after school and encouraged them in extra curricular activities and homework, reading etc.
I have a paediatric first aid certificate and i am qualified in level 1 and 2 NVQ in childcare.
I am also Covid vaccinated.

This is the first time Iv used a sitter and at first I was quite nervous, but Helen turned up in plenty of time for the booking and immediately made me feel at ease. My 14 week old seemed very happy and Helen was happy to update throughout the night on how my son was doing. Would definitely recommend and would use Helen again

We have been working with Helen for over 2 months now. She is an excellent nanny, my son loves her. She is caring , fun and punctual.
She is always willing to help and happy to stay over time if needed.

Helen has looked after my children on a few occasions and is brilliant! I would highly recommend Helen, she is very friendly and helpful, my children really like her. I look forward to her continued support.

We found helen only 3 hours before we needed her to look after our 8 month old, and thank god we did! A family meal the night before our wedding clashed with his bedtime, after only moments of meeting Helen had taken him off and rocked him to sleep, and stayed with him for a further 5 hours, getting him back to sleep when he woke.
Helen is really friendly, very capable, and even in a short space of time we felt we could easily trust her with our son. The only downside is we don’t live closer to use her more frequently! Would not hesitate to recommend

I am a single Dad of two girls and a boy, and have employed Helen since 2013. She is great with the kids, who love her dearly, and she also does a load of housework, has good ideas, and is very obliging and flexible. She is punctual and entirely trustworthy, and a pleasure to have around.
