About Me
I have lived in this area since 1969, my husband has lived in Wokingham all his life. We have 4 grown up children and are lucky enough to have 7 little granddaughters and 1 grandson. I work from a separate annexe connected to my 4 bedroomed home with a secure garden and a range of age-appropriate toys and equipment.
I am within walking distance of local parks and play areas, have easy parking for drop offs and pick ups and I am a short distance from all major motorways and railway routes.
I am a member of Pacey and Ofsted registered.
My Experience
I have worked within the childcare profession for many years, as a childminder, assistant childminder, volunteer non-teaching assistant in our local primary school, after-school club staff and a nanny.
My Qualifications
I am Ofsted registered, CRB checked, hold a current paediatric first aid certificate , developing childminding practice 1, Level 2 in food safety and have attended many courses including behaviour management, use of language, helping left-handed children, anaphylactic shock awareness and bereavement training.
I continually update my knowledge through online webinars and research.
The local Authority run relevant training courses throughout the year which I attend when available.
My Availability
1 vacancy Thursdays from September 2023
1 vacancy Fridays from September 2023
My usual availability is Monday to Friday from 7.30am until 6.30pm
I can offer 2, 3 and 4 year (15 and 30 hour) funding. Taken between the hours of 8am - 5pm Tuesday to Friday
I am not available bank holidays.
