I have a 9 month old baby girl who keeps me pre occupied alongside 2 dogs and a cat.
My Experience
I have experience of working with all ages, from newborn up to 16 years old. I also have experience looking after children with disabilities.
I originally started in the Childcare industry in 2011 working at a Montessori Nursery as a trainee, I learnt a lot and found their methods effective and stimulating. Alongside this I had a live in job where I was in charge of exercising 2 horses and the general well being of them, 3 dogs and a cat. My duties also included cleaning the house and ironing clothes. Along with the odd bit of gardening.
After that I had many nannying jobs varying from newborn up. My roles included waking the children up, getting them ready for school, preparing breakfast and lunch boxes, taking the younger children to baby groups, school pick ups, preparing dinner and bathing. My jobs have varied from being the sole carer for the children whilst the parents commuted into the city for work or being within the family home and supporting the mother with day to day activities. I also have experience with twins.
I’ve had an amazing 9 months with my little girl but now looking to go back to work part time. I will be going back to work x2 days a week with my current employer however looking for another role where I would be able to bring my little one along with me.
