About Me
Hello! I am a fun, friendly 31 year old with 15 years experience in childcare. I have cared for children aged 3 weeks to 16 years old, both within the home environment as a nanny for several families and babysitter and within the early years settings in the UK and abroad. I am currently the Manager of a nursery in Winchester and have worked here for over 14 years. I am responsible, reliable and caring and very enthusiastic about working with children.
I hold a level 3 diploma in children and young peoples work force, paediatric first aid trained and also have many other related qualifications I also completed a degree in Psychology.
I really enjoy creative activities, cooking and being outside as well as inside ensuring the children I am caring for get to enjoy a range of different things. I feel that working in the nursery has provided me with the experience and the knowledge of many different activities which children thoroughly enjoy but potentially don't get to experience on a day to day basis.
I am also have a current DBS check and have my own car.

April 2017 - November 2018 - Nursery nurse abroad working with TUI in the 5* brand. Caring for children from birth to 5 years whilst they are on holiday
April 2016 - April 2017 - Senior practitioner and SENCO at nursery caring primarily for children aged 3 months to 2 years 6 months as well as dealing with the admin side of nursery life
September 2015 - April 2017 - nanny for a little boy aged 3. Job involved taking him to various groups, preparing meals, planning activities and taking care of things around the house
November 2014 - April 2016 - qualified nursery practitioner caring for children aged 2 years 9 months to school leavers.
January 2014 - September 2015 - One day a week nanny for two lovely girls aged 3 and 4. In this role I am responsible for getting them up in the morning, performing the morning routine and getting them to school and nursery. I then collect them from school and nursery, cook them dinner and provide a variety of activities to keep them entertained.
November 2013 - November 2014 - Assistant nursery practitioner at Henry's Kindergarten, Winchester. Working mainly with children aged 3 months to 2 years 9 months. I have experience caring for children as young as 4 months.
January 2013 - May 2013 - Experience as a teaching assistant, Bassett Green primary school, Southampton. As part of my degree I undertook a module in which I acted as a teaching assistant within a year 2 class observing the teacher, helping students and even taking my own lesson.
June 2012 - November 2013 - Supply staff at Henry's Kindergarten, Winchester. I worked with all children in the nursery (aged 3 months to 5 years) on a supply basis whilst at university.
June 2012 - April 2013 - Volunteer at KID's. I volunteered at KID's on Saturdays and during school holidays working with children aged 4 - 12 years who had a range of physical and mental disabilities both in the setting and on day trips.
January 2012 - July 2012 - Volunteer at Southampton university nursery. I volunteered with children aged 3 - 5 years for 6 months during my time at university.
October 2008 - September 2010 - Supply staff and kitchen assistant at Henry's Kindergarten. I worked as a kitchen assistant at the nursery during this time and after turning 18 worked with children of all ages within the nursery. I had to leave this position as I moved away to go to university.
I have also been a babysitter for several families since the age of 17 and within this role I have cared for children aged between 1 months and 14 years.

My Availability
I am available for evening and weekend babysitting whether this is a regular arrangement or ad-hoc. I also have some limited availability on Thursday afternoons and Fridays. As I have a car I am able to travel and would be willing to take the children out for the day if this is what is required.
