About Me
I live on the outskirts of Dumfries in the village of Lochfoot, with my husband Kevin and our 2 children.
Having been a working mum myself, I understand how important it is to find someone who you feel comfortable in leaving your child with. I feel that I offer a safe, caring, home from home environment.
Our bungalow is in a quiet residential area of as Lochfoot and has a large secure garden, well equipped with outdoor toys. We also have a playroom indoors with many toys to suit different ages. A quiet area is provided for children who still need to sleep. Snacks are provided

What better experience than being a mum of 2 !! (Therefore, newborn experience)
I have been a Registered Childminder since August 2008.

My Qualifications
Inspected by SCSWIS (Social Care and Social Work Improvement Scotland) and I am also member of the SCMA (Scottish Childminding Association)
Inspected by the Environmental Health (Childminders who are providing food now require to be registered as a "Food Business")
I regularly attend short (evening) courses, i.e. Child Protection, Infection Control, Parental Involvement, etc.
SVQ 3 /SCQF Level 7 in Social Services (Children and Young people)
Paediatric First Aid Certificate held
My Availability
I am registered to care for both Pre School and School age children.
Childminding Service is available both Term Time and School Holidays (46 weeks of the year).
I am also in partnership with Dumfries & Galloway Council to provide 1140 hours of Early Learning & Childcare to 3 & 4 year old / eligible 2 year olds.
Dependant on current commitments I maybe able to collect/drop off at Cargenbridge School Nursery and Lochrutton Primary School. However, i may consider other playgroups, nurseries and dependant on their start/finish times.
HOURS:- Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm (however, hours can be flexible as i like to accommodate where I can.
Please contact me for future spaces, as there will be Pre-school availability at the end of August 2024 when I have Children moving on to Primary School.
