I am a mother of 2 adult children. I live on the south side of Farnham with my Cocker spanial pup.
'Ann Bowyer Childcare' provides a safe, friendly home from home environment for your children to learn through play, along with freshly cooked food and a little rest time too.
We love going out to Alice Holt/Frensham Ponds/Bourne woods/local Parks/Bird World/days out. I am continually trying to improve experiences for the children, to this extent I will be incorporating Outdoor Learning/Forest School into our daily activities. I am currently looking for a site to practice the Forest School ethos, which will take my practice outdoors.
I have a vast amount of resources for all ages and I have a lovely garden which has loads of exciting things to do in it, like their own veggie patch, herb garden and flower garden, paddling pool, ride-ons, playhouse, Nature kitchen and more.

'Ann Bowyer Childcare' has been a registered Ofsted Childminder for 30+ years, receiving my 2nd 'Outstanding' from my last 2 Ofsted inspections, last one being August 2019. I have experience with minding children from 6 weeks old. I have experience with children who have allergies and SEN.

BA in Early Years Childcare and Education, Level 3 Forest School Leader, NVQ3 in Childcare and Education, Paediatric 1st aid, Food and Hygiene, Health and Safety, Safeguarding Children, Ecat (language development in the early years) plus Lots of other Courses/workshops and conference attendance.

Overall
Ann has been looking after my children (now 3 and 6) since January 2011. Ann was recommended to me by a freind and having seen her with the children in her care at school i knew that she cared about the children. The biggest recommendation i can give is that my children positively look forward to 'Ann day' and run down the path to her door every week! Ann provides lots of activities for them do at home including crafts and a garden full of toys. The 'nature kitchen' in the garden is a big hit at the moment. The chidlren also go out to local parks, toddler groups, Alice Holt and Frensham etc. Ann always keeps me updated during the day if there are any concerns with the children and ensures that they are happy. We feel really lucky to have found Ann to help us with the care of our children.

Overall
met Ann nearly two years ago. I needed care for my daughter before and after school when my job situation changed and when talking to a mum at school, she recommended speaking to her childminder. The childminder in question was Ann. My friend was talking very highly of her and said she would recommend her any time as she was looking after her daughter since she was about six months old.
I now drop my daughter off several days before school and she collects her from school and mind her until I get home from work. Ann is brilliant with Munira. When she had a few minor issues at school, Ann picked up on it and talked to her about it - and then gave me an update.
Ann is flexible regarding timings and this has been a great help to me in my work.
Ann does a vast range of exciting activities- both indoors and outdoors. My daughter talks non-stop about the fun she has at Ann's.
Ann will hopefully still be looking after my daughter for years to come! Munira is very happy with her and my husband and I certainly value her a great deal. She is someone I can count on and I would definitely recommend her to any parent looking for someone who really cares about your child.

Overall
Ann has been looking after my daughter Caitlin for 2 years. She cares for her 3 days a week for around 2.5 hours after school. Caitlin settled in really well to this routine and has always been happy to go to her house. Equally I have never had any concerns about Caitlin being in her care. There are always crafts and activities being organised, with Caitlin bringing home lots of pictures or models that she has made. I have always known Ann to look after the children in her care patiently and with kindness, both at her house and at the playgroup that she helps to run (which is where I first met and got to know her). One of the reasons I was happy to use Ann as my child-minder was because of the way I had seen her interacting with children at the playgroup.

Overall
Ann has looked after our daughter Isabella for the last four years and we feel that she has benefitted enormously from her time there. Ann has always been brilliant with Isabella, taking time and care to encourage her and bring out the best in her.
Ann provides a secure, fun and stimulating environment for the children she looks after and has a wonderful garden where Isabella loves to play. Ann regularly attends a good toddler group and also provides lots of stimulating activities including topical crafts, sensory play and reading books. She also takes the children to a local park, on walks and day trips out. She is very good at keeping us informed of what Isabella has been up to.
Isabella always looks forward to her day with Ann and always comes home very happy. We feel she has had a massive impact on Isabella's social and creative development and general wellbeing.
Ann is a thoughtful, friendly and committed childminder and we are very happy with the care Isabella has received. We have a baby son and hope that Ann will be available to look after him too when he is a little older.
