About Me
Hi my name is Jo and I am an OFSTED registered childminder. I am mum to Jude. We live in a house in Hoddesdon on a quiet road with a nice garden. I am a very creative and fun loving person and I enjoy a busy day filled with playing and learning! I enjoy many outings and getting messy with arts and crafts. My favourite activity is laughing! I hold a full driving licence and own my own car.
I work in accordance with the Early Years statutory framework (EYFS) and plan for activities to help children achieve their outcomes and help ready them for their schooling career.
My Experience
I have been a childminder for some time now but I have interacted with children all my life. My mum was a childminder for 17 years until she became a teacher. As a child I enjoyed helping my mum plan and organise activities for the children. I also engaged very well with children she looked after who had special needs. I found this extremely rewarding. Also the best experience I have is being a mum. It's the hardest and best job I have ever had! I had my Ofsted inspecting (Nov 17) and I received an OUTSTANDING grade. I have experience with behavioural issues, allergies and intolerances and also speech and language issues. Not only do I offer stimulation, outings and group activities, I also offer my home, care and support to all in my care.

DBS checked
Diploma for children and young people's workforce level 3
Prevent duty training.

My Availability
I am available Monday to Friday between 7am - 6pm (negotiable )
