About Me
Hi I am a mother of two and am also a grandparent. .I have over 25 years of experience with children of all ages in many types of childcare settings,I have been a Nanny with multiple child position and also a registered Childminder when my children where growing up . I have worked in schools and also run my own Art classes and Art parties .. I live in stroud green haringey near crouch end. I am willing to travel and have my own car which I use for work .I am looking for a part time or full time nanny position .I love to cook and bake and believe in a healthy balanced diet and encourage this in children experimenting with tastes and textures..I am also an artist so love to get children in my care involved in creative activities and allow them to explore with messy play and have prior to covid run after school art classes and art parties . .Educational play and reading is a top priority . I have worked in schools so phonics and reading skills I am keen to teach .I like to attend baby groups and classes age related ..I also enjoy day trips out to zoos and farms etc and am familier with lots of local activities.. and am always on the lookout for new fun things to do . I have lots of experience with newborns and all ages and am very developmentally focused.
My Experience
I have been a nanny since before my children were born .and have a large family of sixteen nieces and nephews .so have always had hands on experence with children .I have been a mothers help and also a registered childminder. I have also worked in schools where i run art classe.i have also done private tutoring if art and key stage 1 and 2 Maths , English and science.
I have done nanny shares with up to three children and had four in my care as a childminder so can work well with more than one child in my care ,always being calm and responsable .. and very good at multitasking ,while keeping the children entertained and teaching new things.
My Qualifications
GCSE in child development (b)
seven gcses A - C
A level Art , theatre studies , and Biology
Early years foundation stage courses for childminding .
First Aid and CRB
Experience working within schools in an educational and creative capacity.
Also i have the much valuble experience of being a mother of two.
I have been running children's art classes in local schools for reception and juniors.
I also organise children's art parties , and do catering and party cakes .
My Availability
I am available full or part time .and for babysitting .
