About Me
Hello! I’m Alessandra from Italy. I’m an experienced nanny with more than 15 years working with children in private homes and in a nursery setting.
I’m passionate about children’s wellbeing and development and my work experience to date has involved caring for children from 6 months old up until secondary school age. I’m looking for a new family to help with their childcare needs. I specialise in assisting bilingual families but I am also happy to help introduce a new language and help children grow with a non-native language.
My Experience
I began working with children in my native Italy where I worked at a nursery school. Here I developed my basic childcare and education skills, helping children socialise and play together. I decided to pursue my career helping families in their home as a nanny which I did both in Italy, and for the last 10 years in the UK. I also have experience looking after twins.
I am fluent in Italian, English and French and speak intermediate German. I have considerable experience working with bilingual children and their families and am happy to facilitate and work in different languages.

Diploma in foreign languages (English, French, German)
Italian first aid certification
English first aid certification
Full clean driving licence (I have my own vehicle)

My Availability
I am looking for a full time nannying position but I also have ad hoc availability for evening babysitting with prior notice.

Hi mommy or daddy...Reading this review.
We were so blessed to have Ale as our nanny to our twins from when they were 6 months old, for 2 years.
Ale is a very gentle, very patient, very loving nanny. She created such a sense of adventure in our twins. She would be out with them the whole day.... taking them to parks, play groups, art classes, music classes etc. She literally walked with our twin buggy all over town. This was a real benefit as we worked from home and appreciated the empty home most days.
She never ever got angry or impatient with the twins. She gave them all the love and cuddles they needed.
She was often mistaken as the twins' mommy.... she really has such a love for children and a wonderful gifting.
Ale is like part of our family now and we'll always be very close to her.
Making childcare decisions can be so stressful but I can truly reassure you that she is amazing and will be a blessing to you and your family.
