About Me
I have been a registered child minder for the past fifteen years and a nursery nurse in private nurseries before that. I am married with two children, my son is fourteen and my daughter is eleven years old.
A week in my setting involves lots of variety, we enjoy going out to explore the woods, outdoor play, visits to feed the ducks, exploring on the field near my house and lots different craft and sensory play activities. Lots of garden play, singing, stories and different toys and messy play to play with everyday.
I live close to a lovely park, which we like to make full use of!
My Experience
I have been working as a registered child minder for the last fifteen years, and I worked in private day nurseries for five years before that. I currently look after school age children and toddlers. When working in private nurseries I was leader of the baby room, so I have had experience in a wide variety of age groups.
My Qualifications
I am qualified in child care to a Level 4. I have a current first aid certificate and am currently completing a good hygiene course.

My son absolutely loved going to Diane's. She is so kind, caring and supportive. During his time with her he came on leaps and bounds. I would definitely recommend her services.

My son has been going to Diane for nine months now and we are thrilled with his progress there. She really is an amazing childminder.
She put him (and us) at ease immediately and he settled in really well straight away. We really feel like he is part of the family when he is there and that she (and the other children) have a great bond with him.
She does a huge range of activities with the kids, like trips to the woods/farm/library/splash park/much more, sensory activities, reading, singing, crafts and lots more. In fact, I get a lot of inspiration from her for activities to do with my son on my days off! She has also taught our son his colours perfectly by using something he was interested in at the time (Thomas & Friends).
I think the best testament is the fact that every morning when I ask my son what he wants to do, he says 'go to Diane's' (even on the days when it's just a day in with boring old mummy, ha ha!). I wouldn't have it any other way - it's lovely to see him so happy there.
