About Me

I am a mum to 5 children ranging from 25-38yrsold and 7 grandchildren age 4 weeks to 11 yrs .I have been working in childcare since the age of 16. I was a childminder for 20 years while my children were growing up and can provide references from the families that I worked for and am still in contact with. I am available for ad hoc days/nights .

My Experience

I have over 40 years experience of working with children. I am vastly experienced with special needs as 2 of my sons are special needs. One has ADHD and the second has a genetic chromosonal abnormality which has resulted in severe mental and developmental problems. I have worked in day nurseries as well as nannying and childminding. I hold an enhanced DBS which is also on the update service.

My Qualifications

I have done a paediatric first aid course but this has now expired. I also hold a IPP, Safeguarding and Promoting Positive Behaviour certificate.

My Availability

I am extremely flexible and can accomodate most hours. Early mornings/late evenings are not a problem.
