About Me
I have been registered since 2002 and worked in a local nursery before I decided to start Childminding. I am married with 2 sons who attend the local schools.
I also reguarly babysit for my minded children and also at some the top hotels in The Lakes. Obviously I am CRB checked have my own public liability insurance.
My Experience
As well as being a mum to my two boys, I was an active member of my local toddler groups and worked in a local nursery until I decided to start Childminding. We are also very active members of the local hockey club who I umpire matches for.
My Qualifications
I have the necessary first aid and child protection qualifications together with various other ones which I have felt it necessary to keep my updated with current legislation and information.
I am also SEN (Special Needs) trained to a high level. I try to attend regular courses such as sing and sign, All Together etc and of course EYFS training which is mandatory for us as childminders.
My Availability
I am available for childminding from 7.30am - 6.30pm but however I would state that I like to flexible and will consider and have done in the past times outside these hours. I will do the occasional weekend depending on circumstances and hours etc. Please ask.
My Fees
For obvious reasons, my fees are different for childminding and babysitting depending on the age and the number of hours etc that is required. Please ask for further information and clarification.

A professional but friendly baby-sitter who inspired confidence in the parents leaving the children in her care. Archie (a 3yr.old twin who can be anxious and woke a few times) told his Mum next morning that the lady who looked after him was lovely and had given him lots of cuddles!! Thanks Amanda, if we're ever in the area again we shall certainly call you.

great babysitter
Amanda looked after our 1 year old daughter for 2 nights and she was excellant. I would fully recomend Amanda to anyone.
