About Me
Hello, I am an ofsted registered childminder based in the Lea Bridge/Mark House Road area. My setting is called beees babies. I have good bus links into the city and I am centrally placed for Lea Bridge, Leyton, Walthamstow and Blackhorse Road Stations. I have a DBS enhanced disclosure, and I hold the relevant childminding qualifications including EYFS training, Safeguarding certificate and a Paediatric first aid certificate.
I was inspected by ofsted in September 2022 was graded good in all areas.
I have a separate room in my home which I have converted into a playroom, filled with all types of toys and resources, bright, colourful with a homely feeling. There is also a separate room for sleeping.
My garden is very child friendly and the children have full access in the good weather.
On a daily basis I attend playgroups & libraries as part of the children's growth and development. Extra activities include trips to parks, farms and museums.
My main aim to give my babies the life skills that they need towards their next steps of development, to make them feel safe , secure, loved and happy.
I have a love for life and a love for children and this shows in the children that I care for and I love being a childminder and would like to think that I do provide a homely, comfortable and fun learning environment for all the children that I care for.
My Experience
I am a mother of two grown children and a grandmother.
I have became an ofsted registered childminder to give back the skills that I have gained over the past 30 years.
I have experience of looking children with special dietary need.
I am a vegetarian and part of the year harvest my own vegetables and salad from my home allotment which the children all have a part in. This also promoted healthy eating and knowledge.
