About Me

Hi I'm Belinda, an OFSTED registered childminder, living in the Roselands area of Eastbourne. I work with Dianne, another registered childninder, and my husband and daughter, registered assistants This gives much more flexibility in the care we can offer you.
I really enjoy looking after the children in my care, we have a lot of fun!!! I have a large, child friendly garden as well as a large conservatory, which I use as a playroom. I take the children out during there time with me, visiting the library, parks, the beach, toddler groups and so on. Whilst the children are with me they are my first priority, I believe passioantely that every child is unique and important, and hence will work closely with parents to ensure their child recieves thje best possible care.

My Experience

I registered as a childminder in 1999, before that I was a teacher. I have also worked supporting childminders and teaching childcare. I have looked after many children and have written references to support my practice. I cared for children from a variety of different backgrounds, those who don't speak English and children with disabilities.
Dianne registered as a childminder in 1998 and has also had a lot of experience in childcare. She has a level 3 qualification in childcare and education, has attended a range of other training.

My Qualifications

I have level 3 and level 4 qualifications in Child Care, as well as teaching qualifications I enjoy training and thinking about how this can make me a better childminder. My husband and I both have current Paediatric First Aid Certificates. I recieved a GOOD grading from OFSTED, in my last inspection in May 2009.

My Availability

At present,we have no vacancies. Please contact us regarding future vacancies.
I am also registered to provide the Early Years Educational Entitlement (EYEE), enabling 3 and 4 year old to access 15 hours of free nursery education a week. I can give you more details of this, if you email me.

My Fees

I chjarge £4.00 per hour, as a basic fee. There are discounts available and there is also a school/nursery pick-up fee. I will accept childcare vouchers.
