About Me
I've lived in Petersfield for many years. I have 4 grown up ( well fairly ) children.We have 1 dog and 1 cat . I am interested in crafts,nature,books,gardening and the outdoors. I feel my greatest asset and achievement is my family. We are close and have a lot of fun together. Because of this I hope to offer my minded children a home away from home,somewhere they feel happy,secure and valued.
My Experience
My greatest experience comes from bringing up 4 children (4 under 6yrs to start with!) with all the triumphs and tribulations that brings. Through having my own children I have volunteered at nursery,school,cubs,scouts etc. I have also babysit for various families over many years.
I have been registered as a childminder since July 2012,my last ofsted inspection was Oct 2022 and I was graded " Good" I am also a member of the Professional Association for Childcare and Early Years ,with whom I have my public liability and business car insurance.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
- Childminding from £6.00 per hour

per hour per child,this includes meals,nappies ,group subs and outings.

I met bridget when my little boy was 9 months old and i was planning to go back to work. I instantly felt comfortable with her and so did my little boy. He started going twice a week and loved it, and he still does 4 years later. He made several friends there who he now sees at school and learned so much in her care. Im amazed at all the time they spend in woods, parks, groups and generally out and about. He's had the chance to experience so much with Bridget and has come home with a variety of homemade crafts and projects from her allotment. When it came to someone to look after my little girl a few years later then Bridget was an obvious choice. Trusting someone with your child is such an important choice and i whole heartedly recommend Bridget to anyone. Not sure i could of gone back to work without her!

Bridget is a wonderful, caring and nurturing childminder. My children love going to her house and my daughter (5) especially enjoys her time in the school holidays with Bridget as she can play with friends made there and go on days out.
I've always felt more comfortable
leaving my children with Bridget rather than a nursery as she provides the homely experience and really gets to know children; they adore her cats and dog and they get taken out to various parks and groups, the allotment etc and also enjoy arts and crafts at her house.
I would highly recommend Bridget to anyone, it's hard to leave your precious babies when you return to work but Bridget made it a lot easier for u

If you want somebody that will treat you and your child like they are family then look no further. Bridget’s home is such a wonderful environment for your child to enjoy, flourish and grow in. My children adore Bridget and I do too. Bridget is so accommodating and was so supportive when my child was very poorly and developed juvenile arthritis. It was a very upsetting and stressful time for our family and Bridget’s support and kindness during this difficulty period will never be forgotten. Bridget does so many fun activities with the children and regularly gets them outside. My daughter and son really benefited from the mix of ages that Bridget looks after. Home cooked healthy meals and snacks are provided too and Bridget catered well for my children’s dairy allergies. Bridget’s family are all lovely too and we love that she has pets.

My daughter has been going to Bridget for 3 years since she was 11months old and I had to go back to work. Bridget has been our absolute rock and my daughter enjoys every minute with her.
Bridget is caring, funny, passionate about what she does and creates a home from home which was so important for me when I went back to work. My daughter has made some great friends while with Bridget and has learnt so much from all the fun things that Bridget plans for their days together. Bridget loves being outside and this is a big part of the fun they have together, they go to the beach, the park, other playgroups, woodland walks, Bridget has an amazing allotment where they play and do gardening and her garden at home is just a perfect haven for the kids.
Having a supportive childminder has been so important for us a family as our daughter felt at home from the moment she was there and Bridget is great at being flexible when I’ve had work issues or public transport issues. I cannot recommend her enough.

Bridget has looked after my daughter for the past 4 years. She continues to look after her during school holidays. My daughter always enjoys her time with Bridget and has made many friends with the other children in her care.
They are always out enjoying themselves and return with many tales of the day.
Highly recommend Bridget to anyone looking for a fun and safe place for their child/ren.
