About Me
I live with my husband and two children in Berrylands, Surbiton. I was a teacher but after having my second child I have decided to change career and become a childminder. My teaching background includes primary, secondary and Special Educational Needs (SEN) experiences that fully equip me for childminding. I look forward to enjoying, educating and encouraging my own and other children, creating self-awareness and social skills.
My Experience
I qualified as a teacher in 1996 and have taught primary, secondary and Special Educational Needs. My specific subjects are English, Drama and Media but having taught primary, I have a knowledge of the whole curriculum. I recently completed an Introduction to Childminding Practice (ICP) course specifically focused on childminding and I deliver the Early Years Foundation Stage with my own children. We have an organised, fun and sociable household and look forward to sharing our life with others.
