About Me
Hi my name is Ellie, I am currently working as a nanny/housekeepr looking after two children aged 11 and 12. I have been in this position for over 10 years now starting when they were 10 months and 2years. I love my job and find it extremely rewarding and worthwhile as well as lots of fun! I also have a four year old daughter who comes along to work with me. She is very used to this routine as we returned to work when she was 11 weeks old. She is very happy and social and I'm ideally looking for a family that will be happy for me to bring her to work with me part of the time (school holidays etc) It's come to a time where my current family are needing me less and less so am beginning to look for a new position.
I am a happy, outgoing nanny with a good sense of humor and believe that children learn and develop best in a happy, fun and stimulating environment! I am hardworking, reliable and flexible.
At the moment I also work three days in a pre school alongside my nanny position so I am either looking to work two full days (tues/thurs) to work alongside preschool or a new full time nanny position! Look forward to hearing from you.
My Experience
Since completing the BTEC National Diploma in Early Years in 2004 I have gained 15 years experience in childcare from birth to teenage. I first started work in a nursery setting as a nursery nurse then as baby room leader (birth-1yr) before leaving to become a nanny. I have spent the last 12 years working as a nanny.
