About Me
My name is Fran, I have worked in childcare for over 10 years in childminders, nurseries and as a temporary nanny. I am a graduate from The University of Portsmouth with a 2:1 in Early Childhood Studies with Psychology.
I am a first time mum looking for a job where I can also bring my daughter along to encourage social development for all children.
I love to be outdoors and going on adventures. My ideal job would be where I have freedom to go out, attend groups and go on day trips. I also enjoy arts/crafts, sensory play and using my imagination to create fun learning opportunities. I am a highly motivated, committed and reliable person who is enthusiastic and willing to learn new skills.
My Experience
Nursery:
I’ve been in my current employment for 3 and a half years working as a practitioner, room leader and deputy manager. The nursery was based in the countryside of Petersfield, it was a Reggio inspired setting meaning we were child led and used available and natural resources to create development promoting activities.
Nanny Agency:
I have previously worked for a nanny agency where I was a temporary nanny for ad-hoc days when required.
Childminding Assistant:
I have worked in 2 childminding settings for a total of 3 years with children aged 3 months to 11 years old. I enjoyed the freedom and flexibility available when working in a home setting including going for day trips or visits to the park, library and playgroups.
