About Me
Hi my name is Gillian, i am registered childminder living in central Dunfermline.
My service is run from my home and i work alongside my mother with our childcare service.
Between us we have 25+ years of experience in childminding. We cater for all backgrounds supporting our families as best we can.
In our service we have long standing families some of which have used our service for 12+ years. We love caring for children offering a home from home comfort for yourself and child.
I currently cater to Commercial primary school, St.Margarets primary school and nursery as well as beanstalk Fergus place nurture centre
At the moment i have a varied range of boys and girls of ages from 14months up to 12.

My Experience
Between my mother and i we have around 25 years experience.
I have been a fully registered Childminder for 14 years as my mum has been for around 27 years.
We now work together caring for children from my home. We do lots of different activities with the children we care for, including activities relating to what is going on around us and linking to the curriculum for excellence. My care service is a play based service which makes the best use of our local community.
My Qualifications
I am currently in my third year at university completeing my Ba Hons in childhood practise.
I have completed my SVQ level 3 in childcare learning and development.
Along with this i have a recognised Baby and Child First Aid certificate, and REHIS elementary in Food Hygiene, child protection, Internet safety training including a great deal more courses we have completed.
My Availability
Our service is fully flexible for the parents needs.
Our service at present runs Monday to Friday from 7am till 6pm, however if a parent needs extra care this can be discussed for availability.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
- Childminding from £5.00 per hour
Fee's are dependant on what is required and the number of hours required.
My Local Schools
- I provide drop offs and pick ups at Commercial Primary School
- I provide drop offs and pick ups at St Margaret's Primary School
