About Me

I am married with one lovely daughter aged, 2 1/2 years old. We live in Newport Pagnell and we are lucky to live near a small Lake and have lots of parks around us as well as being just a short walk from town.

We make the most of the area by spending lots of time going on nature walks, feeding the ducks and visiting local toddler and music groups.

I ensure the children have lots of fun learning through play activities in the setting as well as exploring the local community.

My Experience

I started my childminding business in January 2011, after having my daughter in July 2010. I have being working in childcare for 8 years.

I previously worked as a senior nursery nurse in a local day nursery and have experience in working with children aged Newborn to 11 years. Before starting at the nursery i was employed as a nursery nurse in a shoppers creche where i worked part time for 3 years whilst also nannying for two young children during the week. I am ofsted registered and also a member of the NCMA.

My Qualifications

I originally trained full time at college for two years and achieved a Btec National Diploma in Early Years (level 3 diploma) I continued with my studies and I currently hold a Level 4 Certificate in Early Years, and I am working towards a degree in Early Years, as well as a certificate in basic signing.

I also hold certificates in Pediatric First Aid, Epi-Pen, Food Safety and Hygiene and Safeguarding Children.

My Availability

I run a free flow setting in which children are able to choose activities and experiences for themselves as well as taking part in focused activities.
