About Me
I'm a 32year old childcarer (with a daughter born Oct 2016) I'm fun and still a child at heart! I love working with children and can't imagine doing anything else with my life. Once I have a child in my heart, their there to stay. I'm still in contact with the 18year olds I used to babysit, and have the 11year old twins, I've had since babies, in the school holidays. I am pretty much surrounded by children, as i have step children, my own daughter, nieces, nephews, my best friends have children and my mum is a child minder too. But I love it :)
I love reading, football, swimming, going the cinema and the beach. After a year living in Camden, London, me and my partner are moving back to Staines. So am in search of a new local family in need of childcare. We are currently living with my parents in Staines but will soon be in our own place in Staines or areas near stations as my partner works in London. Because of this I can care for the children in their own home or/and eventually mine with visits to playareas, playgroups, swimming pools, parks, my childminder and nanny friends etc. Unfortunately I don't drive but don't mind travelling via train, bus and walking. And will have my daughter with me too.
My Experience
My Mum has been a childminder since I was 7, and I have been babysitting, nannying and working in nurseries and after school clubs, since I was 16. So have been around children and childcare for years. I've been nannying for 4 families in the last 7years, and still remain close to them and babysit regularly. I have cared for children, professionally, from 4months to 13 years old.
Nannying has been my most enjoyable experience of working within childcare. I've always wanted to be a childminder, like my mum.
My Qualifications
I am CRB checked, OFSTED registered, first aid qualified, hold a level 2 qualification in childcare and am in the process of getting my level 3 and EYFS training too.
My Availability
I currently care for 11 year old twins I've nannied for since babies, in the school holidays. And do a school pick up for two little girls term time. I'm looking for something in mornings where I can come with my daughter, during term time.
