Hi,
My name is Kate Corry (PM me on Facebook) and I am 29 years old.
I have a completed degree In youth, child and community studies in Ireland. I finished in May (2014). I relocated to bristol in August 2014 and living in the staple hill area, all my family are from here so I know the area very well. I am a friendly, reliable and hardworking individual who loves working with children. I would love the opportunity to help families and work with children to create fun and happy memories.
My Experience
I have had 4 months experience working in a childcare setting, here I worked with children ages 3months to 10 years . I did everything from arts and crafts, music, storytelling, teaching, feeding, and outdoor activities.
I also am an Experienced babysitter who has worked with numerous families over the years minding their children part-time on the weekend evenings.
From August 2014- May 2015 I work before and after school with a 5 year old boy, here I did everything from school runs, homework, creative play and cooking dinners for him, I loved my experience working alongside him and his parent.
As of now I am working full time with the council working for children’s social service where I work 9-5 Monday- Friday
I am now a proud mother to my 6 month old baby girl and would like to offer my babysitting services adhoc to families in the evenings and weekends. My husband takes over the care of our baby so very flexible.
I have a full clean driving licence.
I have training in child protection.
My Qualifications
Social work FETAC level 5
Bachelor or arts in youth and community work practice.
British Red Cross babies and child first aid.
My Availability
At the moment I am working full time but looking to do some adhoc baby sitting.
