Childminder in Littleover
|Ofsted Registered||Special Needs Experience|
|First Aid Training||CRB Check|
I am an Ofsted registered childminder living in Littleover.At my last inspection (Autum. 2012) Ofsted gave my provision a "Good" grading.
I have two children of my own, one of them a toddler.
I have 17 years experience as an infant teacher. I preferred teaching the younger children, enjoying the "wow" moments when a child said, did or learnt something special. Childminding has many such special moments. I feel privileged to have the opportunity to care for and nurture young children.
Children will have many opportunities to socialise with other children. I reguarly spend time with other childminders, visit a soft play centre most weeks and sometimes attend toddler groups or visit local parks. I also plan other trips, such as visits to Happy Hens.
At home I have a wide range of toys for children of different ages. I have a child friendly enclosed garden with a swing and slide. There is a separate room available for sleep times.

As a parent I am very particular about the standard of care I want for my children – especially as my eldest daughter has coeliac disease. Trusting her diet and well-being to another individual has always been a source of anxiety for me. However, with Kirsty's child minding services I have been able to enjoy total peace of mind.
Kirsty provides a well-structured, warm and homely environment, and she really cares about all those little details that reassure you that your child's welfare is her number one priority. I have found her to be totally trustworthy and conscientious and I can't recommend her highly enough, in short, I would describe Kirsty's services as pure gold!

My 4 year old son, Ted, has been cared for by Kirsty for 2 days a week and during the school holidays for around a year.
Kirsty is fun, fair and firm when she needs to be. Her house is full of toys and she takes very regularly takes the children out for all sorts of fun activities - sometimes with other childminders.
Ted has a great time, has made a lot of good friends and always has stories to tell after a day at Kirsty's. We are very pleased to recommend Kirsty to you.

My little boy Hayden has been going to Kirsty's since he was 8 months old, he is now 20months old and and he absolutely loves it there In fact when I say its time to go to Kirsty's he runs for his bag!!
Kirsty always has plenty of toys and activities for him to play with and he enjoys going on regular outings with Kirsty and the other children.
I have found Kirsty a caring, lovely person who would do anything she can to accommodate you and your child's needs and I feel she has a very good bond with the children in her care.
I would definitely recommend Kirsty to anybody searching for a childminder they can trust to look after the most precious thing in their life. I would be lost without her :)

My son Eoin has attended Kirsty's for just over a year. He has grown in confidence since being in her care and always appears to be having fun!
Kirsty has a caring and attentive approach to the children in her care and shows a genuine interest in their development and wellbeing.
Kirsty has always been accommodating and flexible with any changes that I have needed with regards to my childcare and I would have no hesitations in recommending her to anyone looking for a caring and safe environment for their child.
