About Me
I am 34. I am very calm, patient and have a relaxed nature but i am also fun and energetic and very self motivated. I am a mummy to 3 beautiful children, a girl aged 6 and 2 boys aged 4 and 3! So I have my hands full daily. We are a sociable family and love the outdoors and exploring. I feel i am very easy going and flexible. When in a nanny position I aim to develop a positive parenting relationship with you and your family. I enjoy socialising with my friends whether it be going to the theatre, day trips out, cinema or for a meal. I like spending time with my family, especially my nieces and nephews.
My Experience
I have been in the childcare profession for over 10 years.
I first started working in a nursery for 4 years as a nursery nurse and then progressed onto Room Leader all within the toddler room with children aged between 18 months to 3. I have 15 years nanny experience. Whilst nannying I have worked with children aged between 0-11 years and have also been a mothers help during one of my roles. I have experience with new born babies and all of my nanny jobs were with a minimum of 2 children. I also worked temporary in a nursery on a part time basis for extra experience. I have also worked a nanny share and have been employed by 2 families. Some of my roles within those 2 jobs involved a school run each day and pre-school drop off also nursery collection. I provide freshly cooked meals and ensure the children have a balanced diet. I do some general laundry and organisation in keeping general areas tidy and children's bedrooms. Throughout the week I have provided care to 3 children daily and am confident in doing so. My last role was to look after 2 children aged 4 and 2 plus taking my daughter with me aged 1 where I provided a general "nanny" day which includes various groups and pre paid classes, pre school drop and many other fun activities either indoors or out. Also from having my own children I feel I have a lot more understanding from a parents view.
My Qualifications
I have a CACHE Diploma in childcare and education,which is graded a level 3, a valid first aid certificate, various other child care related certificates many relate to special educational needs as I was SENCO when I worked within a nursery setting.
I have also studied a child care development course as a 'refresher' for my personal development.
I am not currently Ofsted registered but i have been before and am wiling to be again.
My Availability
I am looking for 2/3/4 full days a week hours between 7/9:30-6/6:30 starting ASAP. Ideally term time only would work best for me or a family that would be happy to include my children sometimes over holidays. I have excellent professional references that can be obtained.

Kirsty has looked after our three boys (ages 8, 4 and 1) since September. I'd highly recommend her - in a very short period she has formed a close bond with my children and they are really fond of her.
She's incredibly professional and well-organised so I feel very confident that my children are safe and happy in her care. She is a great cook and works hard to produce healthy meals, and she's very energetic and proactive in terms of taking my youngest son to lots of playgroups, park trips etc.
It's really obvious that Kirsty loves children - I think that's what makes her such a fantastic nanny.
Overall
Kirsty has been looking after our two little girls (3 and 1) for a while now and she's been fantastic. Would highly recommend her. She's very caring, organised and relaxed with the children. She intuitively knows what to do with them - they seem to just gravitate towards her! Kirsty manages their day depending on weather and their temperament. The girls have been really happy with her. We will all be sorry to not have her anymore!
