About Me
I am a mum of 3 who offers flexible care in a family environment. Children have fun and are safe and happy in my setting. I am reliable and affordable. I received a GOOD in my Ofsted inspection.
I live in the farnworth area of Widnes. I have a large purpose built playroom with a wide variety of toys for all ages. My garden is enclosed with play equipment suitable for under and over 5yr olds. I encourage the children to go outside everyday. My house is a non-smoking environment. I promote healthy eating and snacking.
My Ofsted report was 'Good' and said: * Children enjoy their time with the childminder and make good progress in their learning and development * The childminder provides a wide range of stimulating play activities and outings each day * Parental partnerships are flourishing because good information is shared, which in turn promotes inclusive care for each child.
We have a flexible child led timetable with plenty of variety. A typical week's activities could include: * attend childminding groups, messy play sessions, and local Surestart activities * visits to the park, museums, airports, farms & soft play areas * theme days ie Italian day, Chinese New Year etc * playing out on bikes, football and ball games * reading, dancing and singing * dressing up and role play * baking * playdoh * arts and crafts * picnics * 'tots time' at the library.
My Experience
I have three children of my own aged 1, 5 and 9 years. I have been childminding for 5 years. Before this, I was a Qualified Teacher at St Peter and Paul High School.
I love working with children and because of my wide age range of experience, I understand how important it is for parents to access high quality childcare in the early years. I am a member of my professional association and am constantly looking at ways to improve my setting.

Qualified Science Teacher
My Availability
Mon - Fri 7.30-6.00 (flexible with hours, please ring)
Before and after school pick up from Farnworth CE Primary School (others possible depending on school finish time)
School holidays and occasional days cover
Under 5's full and part time care with nursery collection
I have 2 full/part time vacancies for under 5's and 2 vacancies for before/after school.
My Fees
£4 per hour
£35 day
£150 week
£5 before school
£8 after school (until 5.15) £10 (until 6)
However, these are not set in stone so please ask!
Only pay for what you use, you can ring me for odd days and if i've got space you can just pay for that day.
I offer free settling in visits until your child is happy.

happy children
my 2 children aged 2 and 7 have settled in with lesley from the first day,they are always happy when i pick them up and tell me all the exciting thing they have done,lesley has been brilliant and has been very flexible when my work hours have changed.thanks lesley
