About Me
I offer all children the freedom to play, have fun and learn in a homely, healthy, caring environment. They have safe and secure outdoor access all year round, home cooked meals, regular trips to local parks and woodland, picnics, a large range of toys for all ages and interests, cooking, arts & crafts, water & sand play, letters and sounds phase 1 and regular trips to the library and toddler/baby groups including Blandford gymnastics club.
I provide flexible childcare and aim to make arrangements as stress free as possible by providing all food, snacks, nappies, wipes, sun cream and drinks inclusive in the hourly rate.
I deliver a programme which is centred on the Early Years Foundation Stage. I will tailor my programme according to individual children’s needs, age and stage of development. I am committed to the statutory requirements for Health and Safety, Safeguarding, Food Hygiene, First Aid and Equality and Diversity and attend regular training updates.
I have recently been rated overall 'Good' by Ofsted with 'Outstanding' for safeguarding.
My Experience
I have spent the last year studying and working in placements in order to achieve my Early Years Professional Status. I worked with young children and babies in two different nursery settings. I have my own little girl who is nearly 3 years old.
My Qualifications
I am a qualified adult nurse and I have B.A. Philosophy honours degree. I worked in the NHS and private sector for 8 years. I left my nursing home manager role after the birth of my little girl in 2008 and I have since retrained to work in childcare. I achieved my Early Years Professional Status (EYP) in 2011 which is a level 6 childcare qualification
My Availability
Core hours: Mon-Fri 8am -6pm term time + School holidays by arrangement
Minimum session time 3 hrs
Shift work: Hours & rate available by arrangement
Registration with Ofsted complete.
