Childminder in Dronfield Woodhouse

About Me

My name is Lisa Wareham and I am a professional registered childminder registered with Ofsted on the Early Years Register, the compulsory part of the Childcare Register and the voluntary part of the Childcare Register.

I am also a member of the National Childminding Association (NCMA) and carry Public Liability Insurance.

Ofsted permit me to care for up to five children under the age of eight at any one time in addition to my own child and regularly carry out inspections. I had an inspection on 12 February 2010 which is available for you to read should you so wish. Ofsted Grade - Good.

I have lived in Dronfield Woodhouse for the last seven years with my family on Stubley Lane. We live in a semi detached house which is smoke free and provides a homely and happy atmosphere. We have a beautiful large rear enclosed garden together with a secure driveway area which provides ample space for fun activities together with a safe environment in which to explore the natural world.

I provide a daily routine to enable children to flourish in a relaxed, unhurried atmosphere to enable them to have time to live and enjoy their lives at a pace which suits their stage of development. I visit local playgroups including the Childminding Support Group; local parks – Cliffe Park, Sindelfingen, Graves Park, local farms and fun play zones.

I am a confident and positive person and enjoy caring for those around me sharing my knowledge and enthusiasm. I also believe that healthy nutrition is important to us and that our diet should provide a good balance to promote healthy living.

My husband and I both have Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau disclosures, which is the most stringent available, and welcome children into our home for fun, laughter and play.

My Experience

I am a mother myself and have balanced a busy full time career whilst bringing up my child and carrying out a five year part-time degree at Sheffield Hallam University.

During my working life I have developed good communication and interpersonal skills and am able to competently and confidentially liaise with colleagues, professionals and acquaintances at all levels.

I am also a parent helper at my child's school, which I thoroughly enjoy.

I aim to be a good role model to the children and ensure that my setting provides good outcomes for the children I care for by keeping them healthy and safe and ensuring that they enjoy and achieve, make a positive contribution and develop skills for the future and most importantly are happy!

user rating Fantastic childminder

Lisa is a fantastic childminder that our daughter has loved being with. She really has become part of the family. She keeps us up to date with texts and photos while I've been at work. This helps me feel part of her day. She does lots of activities and trips out and she comes in with lots of art work and home made gifts. Highly recommended.
