About Me
Hello mums and dads - my name is Lisa Burbery and I am 45 years old. I live in Little Thurrock, Grays with my partner of 25 years and our 2 children - Joshua is 18 years old and Olivia is 11 years old. I am an Ofsted registered childminder (graded 'Good' at my last inspection in July 2017). I have all insurances, CRB, Paediatric First Aid, EYFS training, Safeguarding, and Food & Hygiene (Level 2). I have a 4**** Food & Hygiene inspection rating (2020) and hold many educational/specialised training certificates. I am available to do drop-offs to, and collections from, Little Thurrock Primary School/Nursery in Grays RM17. I provide a nurturing, home-from-home environment with stimulating resources and activities to aid children's development (EYFS). We also have a fairly spacious and enclosed garden which is well-equipped for outdoor play and sports. I organise a variety of activities for children of all ages which include arts & crafts, music, sports, baking, games etc. We celebrate festivals, birthdays and other special occasions. We regularly visit local parks and we attend nearby playgroups to help with children's confidence and socialising skills (after a somewhat isolating couple of years during the COVID-19 pandemic). I am available Monday to Friday, 7.30am to 6pm (term time) and school holiday cover may be agreed in advance. I charge £5.50 per hour and provide snacks and home-cooked meals. Lisa used to look after my son after school and during school holidays for 7 years. Lisa is very professional - caring and friendly but firm when needed. Her settings is always clean and she provides variety of indoor and outdoor activities appropriate for the child's age. Whenever I left my son with Lisa, I was always confident that he was well looked after. I would highly recommend Lisa's services to other parents.

I would highly recommend Lisa to look after your little ones. Mine never wanted to leave when i came to pick them up! I used to love reading my daughters book to see what she been up to in the day. If I ever needed my children minded again, i would definitely use her again.
