About Me

Hi, I am Luan, I am 31 years old and have recently become a registered childminder. I live with my partner Alan and our little boy who is 3.

We also have a cat called Jasper.

I offer a safe, secure, home from home environment for your children to feel happy in. Each child in my care will be treated as an individual.

All childcare will be provided on the groundfloor of our 3 storey town house. This includes access to a playroom, downstairs toilet, large kitchen, conservatory and an enclosed garden.
I have my own 7 seater car, clean driving licence and a non smoker.

My Experience

I am fully registered with Ofsted and have a vast amount of experience looking after children of all ages.

I qualified as a nursery nurse in 1998 and have worked as a teaching assistant for 13 years in two local primary schools. I have also had experience of working as an unqualified teacher within the foundation stage.

I have worked with children with learning, social, emotional and behavioural difficulties. I also have experience of supporting children with English as a second language.

My Qualifications

B-tec Diploma in Nursery Nursing.
Introduction to Safeguarding.
Introduction for home based practitioners.
Fire safety Awareness
Paediatric first aid
Working in Partnership with parents

My Availability

My hours are 8.00 - 5.00pm Monday to Friday. However, I fully understand the need for flexibility and would be happy to discuss individual requirements.
Available for day time care, before and after school care.

My Fees

Fees are based on individual requirements. Snacks and meals provided if required.
